Five-year-old Sol and her father live in an isolated house by the sea. She spends her lonely days lost in her own imagination, while her father, a composer, struggles with a creative crisis. When Sol realizes her father is burdened by sorrow, she will find solace in an old Icelandic folk tale.

About the director Ugla Hauksdóttir
Icelandic director and screenwriter living in New York. She studied screenwriting and directing at Columbia University. Since 2017, she has been active as director of international films and TV series, such as Hanna (Amazon), Snowfall (FX), and Trapped (RVK Studios) and has directed numerous short films and music videos. She is currently developing her first feature film.
