KinoKino – International Film Festival for Children has been officially opened at Zagreb’s cinema Europa with the screening of the indian movie Rainbow from director Nagesh Kukunoor, while the children rock band Vodene kozice held a concert before the screening. The festival director Selma Mehadžić and festival coordinator Katarina Crnčić addressed the audience in the name of the KinoKino Festival organization team and emphasized the importance of starting a truly international fiction film festival for children.

Except from the abovementioned film, during the five festival days, until Sunday, March 20th, our youngest audience will be cheered by protagonists from almost thirty movies from all over the world: from Sweden and Estonia to India and Australia.
